The Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon is the perfect event for first time runners and veterans alike. Perfect weather, a beautiful course, and phenomenal organization made for an incredible experience. Not only was I able to finish, but also I beat my goal by more than 10 minutes. I am recommending this race to all of my friends, not just those in Oregon but also in Arizona where I currently reside. I really enjoyed the intimacy of the event. Too many races have become so large that you're left frustrated by having to fight through the crowds pre and post race. It was really nice to be able to relax after and really partake in the wine, music and the great company. We traveled from Washington Dc to this race and we consider it great destination.
